There is an enormous amount of effort that goes into the planning and execution of adventure riding. Since adventure riding is what we do and love, we have come a long way and have made our own learnings. Throughout this journey I was lacking information material in several areas, especially for the preparations for creating routes and tracks and navigating on the trails.

On this small blog I share the learnings and experiences I have collected over the years, to help others with the material I wish I had when I started out.

I write about the tools I use for the preparations of my adventure rides, including planning software, navigation devices and everything related. I try to keep it focused to and around the topic of GPS navigation, since there is so much more to write about, however this would go beyond the idea of this blog.
